The term "Shotgun" means to transfer a lungful of weed smoke from one smoker to another either through a tube of some sort, or by direct mouth-to-mouth contact. One pot smoker exhales their chronic smoke while the other inhales it.

Term originated during the Vietnam conflict during which soldiers wanting to get baked as FUCK would exchange purple dank hits through the same shotgun barrels they also used to blast the bad guys into millions of little pieces: "Hey mother fucker, let's conserve weed by shotgunning our green ripps to one another."
